We had a fabulous stay at Marie Real! The room was huge with satellite TV, a fridge, and plenty of shelves and wardrobe space. The location in the old town was perfect, just a short walk to all the attractions. The light breakfast provided a great start to our day. The air conditioning was quiet and worked perfectly, keeping us cool and comfortable.

While there were a few drawbacks, such as the noise from upstairs or other rooms and the possibility of mosquitoes entering through the missing window, the overall experience at Marie Real was fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Cartagena.

I really enjoyed my time in the old town, the hotel was fantastic, my double room was amazing, the location was within walking distance to the iconic fortress and the rate was reasonable.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our Christmas getaway. We were just a short walk away from the main attractions and nightlife in the city, but without the noise and hustle and bustle. It was also convenient to have a department store right across the street for any last-minute shopping needs. Additionally, the rooms were spacious and well-equipped with kitchens and living rooms, which made our stay more comfortable.

There were some drawbacks to our stay. The hotel was in need of some maintenance and repairs.
